USPS Postage Rates Set to Increase in July

The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) has approved the USPS increases to postage rates.  The rates will go into effect starting on July 10, 2022. Pricing increases mainly Market Dominant products. (Market Dominant products includes First Class Mail, Marketing Mail, Periodicals Mail, and Packing Services Mail). First Class postage rates would be raised by approximately 6.5 percent.

Letters (metered 1 oz.) 53 cents 57 cents
Letters additional ounce(s) 20 cents 24 cents
Domestic Postcards 40 cents 44 cents
International Letter (1 oz.) $1.30 cents $1.40 cents

 

Marketing Mail, including Marketing Mail Nonprofit, will also notice a 6 to 9 percent increase in rates.
