JHL Mail Marketing Receives Best of Category Award in Statewide Print Competition - Stevens Point, WI – 5/13/10
JHL Mail Marketing of Stevens Point received an award for outstanding achievement in Customized-Personalized-Variable Data Digital Printing in the 10th Annual Graphics Excellence Awards, a statewide printing competition hosted by Printing Industries of Wisconsin, the state’s trade association for printing and the graphics arts.
Competing against nearly 800 entries from printing and graphics arts firms throughout the state, JHL Mail Marketing received a Best of Category award. The company’s winning submission was a full color variable data direct mail postcard for Wausau Harley-Davidson. Using Wausau Harley-Davidson’s data the card was customized by motorcycle type and the gender of the rider to better connect with the recipient.
“We are so proud of our winning team”, said Joe Leek, owner and president. “It’s an honor to be recognized by the industry as a company the produces top quality, award winning materials.”
Judi Wolters, PIW’s Vice President, agrees. “We especially celebrate print this year as we mark the 10th anniversary of the competition. Both existing and emerging technologies in the industry were well represented. As the standard of excellence continues to rise determining the winning entries gets more difficult. JHL Mail Marketing should be very proud of their company’s achievement and the excellent work done by their employees.”
The GEAs recognize those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Wisconsin. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
PIW is the state’s graphics arts trade association, representing an industry with more than 40,000 employees and $7.25 billion in annual sales (2009 Print Market Atlas).
